How can your prices be so low?

Samyra Fashion deliberately sells items at low prices, as we wish to retain your custom for many years to come. As we have no physical shop which must be manned six days a week, we can operate a low price policy, from which you profit directly. Despite the low prices, our items are produced to a very high standard using high quality materials. You can see for yourself by arranging an appointment to visit our showroom in Zurich or Niederuzwil.

Can I see the articles beforehand?

Samyra Fashion has a large showroom in Zurich at its disposal. Due to the great number of items, not all designs can be displayed in every size and colour. Despite this, due to the selection in stock, you can still gain an impression of the excellent quality and try the designs on. If after consulting the size charts you are still unsure which size you are, our showroom also offers you the chance to find the right size, as well as a personal consultation, free of charge. In addition, our showroom also has sample boards showing the individual material colours. Please arrange an appointment with us beforehand, as we are only present by appointment.

How do I find the right size?

Each evening and wedding dress has its own size chart. With the list of measurements, you can find the correct size yourself by comparing them with your own measurements. You will find detailed instructions on how to measure yourself correctly here. If after consulting the dress-size charts you still haven’t found the right size, with the majority of designs you have the chance to order “made to measure”, for a small additional fee. Each article includes information on which measurements we require from you. If you are still unsure, we would be happy to help you by e-mail, or you can arrange an appointment to visit our showroom in Zurich, where we can give you a personal consultation and/or take your measurements.

Do you have evening and wedding dresses for pregnant women?

Samyra Fashion offers a range of looser-fitting evening dresses, which are therefore suitable for pregnant women. In particular, we would recommend the following evening dresses: 00080846, 00080535, 00881007, 00777335 and 00777405 and following wedding dresses: L-7011, Y-201, Y-202 and Y-203. You can order your dress in either a standard size or made-to-measure, according to the week of your pregnancy and size of your tummy. With standard size dresses, it is important to keep your breast measurement in mind. If you are in the advanced stages of pregnancy, we recommend ordering made-to-measure. You can also order made-to-measure wedding dresses, which are likewise suitable if you are pregnant.

How do I place an order with Samyra Fashion?

Take your time to browse our online range at your leisure. Once you have chosen an item, simply click the “add to basket” button to place it in your shopping basket. From there you can begin the ordering process by clicking the “to checkout” button. Select your preferred delivery and payment methods and you will then be able to review your order, which includes a detailed view of your items as well as any additional costs such as delivery costs and payment fees via Paypal, Postcard or Postfinance. From here you can also amend your order. Finally, place your order by clicking on the “place order” button.

If you interrupt the ordering process or log out from the website before placing the order (if you have already registered), your selected items will remain saved in your shopping basket, allowing you to find them again quickly the next time you log in. You can remove an item from your shopping basket at any time by clicking on the “delete” button.

How is the sales contract formed?

By clicking the “place order” button at the end of the ordering process, you are entering into a binding contract to purchase the items in your shopping basket. Your order, along with the acceptance of your order, takes place immediately by automated e-mail. This e-mail forms the sales contract.

How and when do I pay?

You can pay for your items by bank/postal transfer, credit card via Paypal, or via Postcard or Postfinance. As good payment practice has unfortunately declined over the past few years, orders will not be sent until payment has been received. However, you needn’t worry about your advance payment, as Samyra Fashion has been inspected and certified by the market leader in online shop certification, Trusted Shops. This certification not only guarantees that you are buying from a legitimate and high quality online shop, but you can also insure your advance payment when placing your order, at no extra cost. These costs are paid by Samyra Fashion on your behalf.

If you would like to pay for your order by bank/postal transfer, choose the “advance payment” option when ordering. You will then receive a confirmation e-mail including our bank details and can pay the invoice amount within the next few days (if you don’t receive the e-mail, please check your spam folder). If you choose the “Paypal” payment option, after placing your order you will immediately receive a confirmation e-mail containing a link to Paypal, where you can pay the invoice amount straight away (if you don’t receive the e-mail, please check your spam folder). If you choose either the “Postcard” or Postfinance” option, after placing your order you will be redirected to the relevant Swiss Post website, where you can pay the invoice amount. As soon as we have received your payment, you will receive a notification e-mail from us.

Why haven’t I received an order/payment confirmation?

Once you have placed your order and we have received payment, you will receive a confirmation e-mail from us. Please check your spam folder in case your settings have filed it there by mistake. If you have entered your e-mail address incorrectly, you will not be able to receive our e-mails. We are automatically alerted when this happens, and will then phone you and resend the confirmation e-mail.

Can I return an item?

In exceptional cases, Samyra Fashion will accept returned items, by agreement. Made-to-measure articles are excluded from the right to return. Providing you have been measured correctly, your dress should fit you. If we were to grant a general right of return, we would no longer be able to offer our products at such low prices, and Samyra Fashion would lose its great strength. However, we would be happy to advise you by e-mail, or in person at our showroom in Zurich to make sure you receive a dress that fits first time.

Why can’t I set up a user account and place an order? 

Orders can only be placed with a delivery address in Switzerland or Liechtenstein. If you have submitted an address in Switzerland or Liechtenstein, please check that you have filled out all the mandatory fields (marked with a star).

 

Delivery

How long will delivery take if I place an order now?

Delivery times depend on the product and are particular to each individual item. If payment is made in time, delivery usually takes 3-4 weeks for evening dresses, and 4-6 weeks for wedding dresses. In urgent cases, you can also arrange an appointment to visit our showroom in Zurich and purchase directly there. However, not all items are available there in every size and colour. As we are only at the showroom by appointment, you must arrange an appointment beforehand.

You can track your order at any time through your user account with Samyra Fashion. You will also be automatically notified by e-mail as soon as Samyra Fashion has dispatched your item to the given delivery address or, if you are collecting it in person, that your items are ready to be collected (incl. arrangement of appointments).

What are the delivery costs?

Within Switzerland and Liechtenstein, delivery costs 15 CHF. These costs are clearly indicated during the ordering process, before the order is placed. You can also collect your order in person at our showroom in Zurich, thereby avoiding any delivery costs. We will notify you by e-mail or text message as soon as your items have arrived, and arrange a convenient appointment with you.

Will all my items arrive at the same time?

Wherever possible, your order will be dispatched in one shipment. Partial shipments cannot always be avoided. In the event of this, Samyra Fashion will of course pay the additional delivery and packing costs.

Can I use an alternative delivery address?

The delivery address doesn’t have to be identical to the billing address. When placing your order, you can give an alternative delivery address in Switzerland or Liechtenstein. As soon as we have received payment, the items will be sent to the delivery address specified by you.

 

Gift Certificates

How do I purchase a gift certificate?

Gift certificates can be purchased in the same way as other items. Once you have purchased and activated a gift certificate, its value will appear in your shopping basket following payment. You can then send the requested amount by e-mail, by clicking on “send gift certificate“.

How do I send/give a gift certificate?

In order to send/give a gift certificate, click on the “send gift certificate” link in your shopping basket. To send a gift certificate, we require the name and surname of the recipient, and the desired amount (you can also send part of your balance). In addition, you can send a message to the recipient. Please check your details before sending.

How do I make a purchase using a gift certificate?

As soon as you have the balance at your disposal, it can be used to pay for your order. During the ordering process, you have the chance to redeem the balance using the gift certificate code. If the balance is below the value of the goods, you must select your preferred payment method to pay the difference. If your balance is greater than the value of the goods, the remaining balance will of course be at your disposal when you place your next order.

How do I redeem a gift certificate?

If you have received a gift certificate by e-mail, you can redeem the balance by clicking on the link in the e-mail. If you don’t already have a user account, you now have the chance to set one up. Once you have placed an item in the shopping basket, you can enter the gift certificate code.

 

Security

Why do you require my date of birth?

When you place an order with Samyra Fashion, we set up a user account for you. We can only set up this account if we have your date of birth, as you must be at least 18 years old to form a contract with us. In addition, your date of birth is also used for identification purposes, in case you wish to contact us by telephone regarding your personal details, or wish to amend them.

What happens to my details?

In order to process your order, certain personal information (name, surname, address, e-mail address, date of birth and telephone number) must be collected and saved. We reserve the right to check and/or amend any personal details in order to verify that postal details are correct.

Will Samyra Fashion sell my details?

When placing an order with Samyra Fashion, we collect your personal details (name, surname, address, e-mail address, date of birth and telephone number) for the purposes of processing your order, customer care and promotion, as far as is legally permissible. Your details will not be passed to third parties, neither free of charge nor for a fee.

Will my activity in your shop be recorded?

During your visit, Samyra Fashion collects anonymous so-called session data. For example, you will find products which you have already viewed compiled in a list. From here you can directly retrieve these items. If you leave Samyra Fashion.com, the data will be deleted. Once you have registered with us or logged in using your user name and password, each time you place an item in your shopping basket, the data will remain saved in your shopping basket after logging out. The next time you log in, you can quickly return to your selection. You can remove an item from your shopping basket at any time by clicking the “delete” button.

Are my details safe from abuse by others?

In order to offer you the best possible protection from data abuse, we use 128 bit encryption during the ordering process, as used by banks. In this way, your details are securely protected when placing an order.
